Education Campaigns

The Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council has created several campaigns to educate the public about crime and fear of crime.

Many of these campaigns have been featured throughout Waterloo Region and in many of the schools. Previous public awareness campaigns include:

Look Deeper (2003)  - addresses perceptions of youth

Say Hi (2004) - addresses community building by getting to know your neighbour

Reach Out (2006) - encourages people to reach out to others in the community

Say Hi School campaign (2007) - aims to connect students, build inclusivity and reduce bullying within a school community.
