Bridgeport Road, Caroline Street, Erb Street

The Region of Waterloo is planning improvements to Bridgeport Road/Caroline Street between Erb Street and King Street and Erb Street between Caroline Street and King Street in Waterloo. These roads are within the Urban Core Area of Waterloo and need to support future growth while prioritizing walking, cycling and public transit. These roads also must accommodate peak hour traffic as they are significant east/west travel routes.

This work includes:

• Replacing underground sanitary sewer and watermain on Erb Street
• Replacing deteriorated pavement
• Adding active transportation facilities
• Improving intersections

This project is currently under review by the project team and City partners, construction is being planned for 2030.

Construction: 2030
