William Street Water Supply System

The Region of Waterloo is improving the William Street Water Supply Systems in Waterloo. This project includes the construction of a new well house, drilling a new well, removing the existing reservoir and wellhouses and removing the old equipment in the existing pumping station. Once the project is complete, water from this well field will be sent to the Strange Street Water Treatment Plant for treatment and distribution.
This project will improve the water quality and reliability in the Region and reduce operations and maintenance costs.

William Street is back open with no future closures needed for this project. The construction is now within the supply system site.
